Were you looking for more information about me? Or about this site?
Either way, I’ll tell you.
My name is Heather and I have 30 kids.
Don’t believe me? Of course you wouldn’t. But I do have 30 kids. Two of them are biological but the others are those that are in my youth group and on my soccer and softball teams.
I believe in influencing the future and am very involved in my community when it comes to sports and church.
PTA? Not so much. Just not my thing.
I have a corporate career gig that affords me the opportunity to work at home and be here with my children. Some days I love it and some days I don’t. It all depends on the stress level of the day.
Desperately Seeking Reviews is the most recent addition to the “Desperately Seeking…” line following the original, Desperately Seeking Sanity, where I blog about life. Not just parenting. Not just faith. Not just about me. But about life. You’ll find transparency and an open book when it comes to how I feel and I do this in the hopes that I will connect with at least one other person to let them know that they are not alone and make them laugh.
After Desperately Seeking Sanity, I launched Desperately Seeking WordPress, after realizing that there was a need for “geeks” in the blogosphere. Enter me. I’ll take a blog hosted elsewhere and set them up in their own home. It’s like moving from a rental into your own home. Generally, people are a lot happier. I also post about everything WordPress to give those who are searching a place to find wordpress help not written in geekinese.
And that brings us to this site where I’m going to tell you all about what I’ve tried and used. Sometimes, these are reviews that I have been approached to write. Other times, they are items that I used in my life that I want to share with the rest of the world. In a perfect world, you’re going to get at least two reviews out of me a week, and an occasional giveaway. Because everyone LOVES a giveaway!
If you want to know more about me, or this site, please feel free to contact me. I’d love to hear from you.
