Wow, I'm not sure I've ever had a date go anything like that. I've had some bad dates, but usually just from a "we don't click" perspective. You should write a book and just put all of your blog posts in it.

Gary's last blog post..Nic’s coloring from preschool. This is now proudly...

I LOVED this post!! Oh, the perils of dating. Sometimes when I'm SO frustrated with Dr. Jekyll, and I just long to be single again, I read stories like this and then think, well, maybe not so much. heh

Sometimes I think I'd like to be single just to be alone! To be by myself, with no one bugging me about this, or that, or why did you do that, and your kids blah blah blah. Sometimes I think maybe I should buy a duplex, Dr. Jekyll will live on one side; I'll live on the other, and we'll put a connecting door inbetween that locks on both sides. LOL Then we can each have our space, and watch what we want on TV, and then have company when we feel like it. And then I think, what if we ended up never opening that door -- that speaks volumes by itself. LOL

Anyway, married or single, it seems like the grass is always greener on the other side. Each has its perks and each has its downsides. Marriage isn't always easy, and being single can leave you lonely, sometimes.

Long comment, but I loved the story. I've got a few online dating horror stories, too. Maybe some blog fodder for the future.

Oh yes... very entertaining... and I don't mean the circus in this instance!

Yes I have my own stories of "another guy" showing up and passing me on a date at other Civic Center events... not pretty and so uncomfortable... but do they really think we are being exclusive so soon! I ask you, really?
